The PNC-1600 achieves accurate, easy cutting for thicker materials such as sandblast stencils, stencil rubbers, cardboard, thin corrugated cardboard, and polypropylene sheets. The wide cutting area also makes the PNC-1910/1610 the optimal choice for cutting large signs and stencils, package prototypes, and many other applications.

Effective Use of Materials
The flatbed design helps ensure reliable cutting even for materials that are difficult to load. Because the bed surface of the PNC-1910/1610 is made of soft polypropylene, neither the bed nor the blade received any major damage even if the material is inadvertently cut through completely. Because the origin point can be set to any location on the bed, plotting and cutting are simple even when using materials that are already marked. This helps to assure effective use of materials.

Adjustable Cutting Pressure
The cutting pressure can be set to any value in the range of 10 to 500gf. This makes it possible to cut thick, inflexible materials or packaging prototypes, then score the cut material for folding a task demanding fine adjustment, which the PNC-1600 handles with ease.

Other features include a replot function that can output the same set of data repeatedly, and a 1 Mbyte data buffer that can receive even large amounts of data with great speed. The PNC-1600 can also be used as an pen plotter. This means that it can be used to make draft plots of cutting data before actual cutting is performed, and to materials for cutting.
